I’m always amazed when I look back at the pictures I take each weekend. I somehow am able to cram so much into such a small timeframe.

On Friday night Justin and I travelled to St Paul for Cosettas. (fantastic Italian food) and to Izzy’s (one of my favorite ice cream places). This was a perfect date night besides the fact it was raining cat and dogs.

Saturday I met my friend Anna at the Mill City Farmers Market. It made me ache for the Farmers Market in Birmingham. All the vendors/farmers are great but I left with asparagus, eggs, and herbed chèvre. It takes a while to get the good stuff in Minneapolis.

My dad would love these baby hydrangeas. I almost bough some an now I really wish I would have. Oh well… There’s alway next week (right Anna).

Today… Happy Mother’s Day everyone!!! I decided to throw a friend brunch for all my pals (who are just like me) and don’t have a mom, mommy, momma… Or whatever you call your mother to celebrate with today. I paid tribute to where I’m from and made my own version of a Chickfila Chicken Biscuit.

Today it gorgeous in Minneapolis so we ended the day with a five mile bike ride on the greenway. We are headed to Justin’s grandmothers tonight for dinner with his family.
